Sterile lubricant desensitizing "LubraGel" 11ml from Istem. LubraGel is sterile water-based lubricant for urethral, rectal and vaginal use. It helps prevent irritation and damage to the mucous membrane during medical procedures.
That makes it the perfect lubricant for urethral sounding for example. The antiseptic effect of the product reduces the risk of infection. The lubricant comes in sterile packaging in a pre-filled, latex-free disposable syringe with a smooth tip.
The lidocaine in the gel allows medical instruments to be inserted painlessly and functions a local anesthetic. Lubragel is used to treat the urinary system. LubraGel is a sterile, water-soluble gel used to lubricate urethral catheters and other medical devices during urethral catheterization, endoscopy and cystoscopy. In addition, it can be used as a lubricant for rectal and colonic applications.
The gel's gliding properties take effect as soon as it is applied. The desensitizing effect begins after 3-5 minutes. The duration is around 20-30 minutes.
