Sterile lubricant desensitizing "LubraGel" 6ml from Istem. LubraGel is sterile water-based lubricant for urethral, rectal and vaginal use. It helps prevent irritation and damage to the mucous membrane during medical procedures.
That makes it the perfect lubricant for urethral sounding for example. The antiseptic effect of the product reduces the risk of infection. The lubricant comes in sterile packaging in a pre-filled, latex-free disposable syringe with a smooth tip.
The lidocaine in the gel allows medical instruments to be inserted painlessly and functions a local anesthetic. Lubragel is used to treat the urinary system. LubraGel is a sterile, water-soluble gel used to lubricate urethral catheters and other medical devices during urethral catheterization, endoscopy and cystoscopy. In addition, it can be used as a lubricant for rectal and colonic applications.
The gel's gliding properties take effect as soon as it is applied. The desensitizing effect begins after 3-5 minutes. The duration is around 20-30 minutes.

Ingredients:@100g: Lidocaine hydrochloride 2 gr., chlorohexidinegluconate 0.250 gr. (20% concentrated), methylhydroxybenzoate 0.060 gr., propylhydroxybenzoate 0.025 gr., hydroxyethylcellulose, propylene glycol and pure water.
Note: LUBRAGEL bears the CE mark as a Class III medical device in accordance with the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC. Due to its primary function as a lubricant and secondary use, it is classified as a Class III medical device. These are the anesthetic and antiseptic effects.
